Perform essential cardiopulmonary procedures for inpatient and outpatient care, including ventilator management and oxygen therapy. Conduct patient assessments and respond swiftly to emergency situations to ensure respiratory health.
Must hold RRT or CRT certification along with BLS/CPR certification. ACLS and NRP certifications are required within six months of employment.
The Respiratory Therapist performs essential cardiopulmonary procedures for both inpatient and outpatient care, including EKGs, pulmonary rehabilitation, ABGs, ventilator management, and oxygen therapy, while conducting patient assessments and responding swiftly to emergency situations to ensure optimal respiratory health and safety.
PRN: RRT or CRT Certification
ACLS and NRP is required within 6 months of employment.
Must have knowledge of respiratory modalities and equipment as well as the ability to perform diagnostic procedures.
