Candidates must hold a CMA or RMA certification and a BLS/CPR certification. The position requires availability for a first-shift schedule of 32 hours per week.
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) supports physicians by performing clinical tasks like patient rooming, vital sign collection, procedure assistance, and in-office testing, as well as clerical duties such as appointment scheduling, pre-authorizations, and referrals. Working under direct supervision, the CMA plays a vital role in patient care and office operations, contributing to the interdisciplinary team to help achieve Adams Health’s mission, vision, and values.
