Assists nurses, physicians, and mid-level practitioners in the safe delivery of patient care within the Emergency Department. Responsible for coordinating care with other departments and maintaining clean, well-stocked equipment and supplies.
Requires a high school diploma and BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Candidates must have six months of patient care experience as a PCA/CNA, be a nursing student who completed their first semester of clinicals, or be a licensed Florida EMT.
