Perform and monitor EEGs and ECGs to support accurate patient diagnosis while ensuring safety and comfort. Manage the ECG workflow within the Intellispace system and maintain clinical documentation and equipment.
Requires BLS certification and prefers a Bachelor's degree along with ABRET registration or similar EEG/ECG experience. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills and the flexibility to work a frequent on-call rotation including weekends.
This role requires availability on weekends and occasional weekdays.
The EEG/ECG Technician is responsible for performing electroencephalograms (EEGs) and electrocardiograms (ECGs) to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. This position ensures proper setup, monitoring, and completion of procedures while maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout the testing process.
The technician oversees ECG workflow within the Intellispace computerized system, including entering, reviewing, and managing ECGs to ensure timely and accurate processing. Responsibilities include equipment setup and cleaning, order verification, documentation within the electronic medical record, and maintaining organized clinical workflow.
This role requires participation in a frequent on-call rotation, including weekends and occasional weekdays. The EEG/ECG Technician works collaboratively with providers, nursing staff, and other clinical team members to ensure high-quality cardiopulmonary and neurodiagnostic support services. Additional duties may be assigned to support departmental operations.
Registered EEG Tech, ABRET, ECG experience, or other similar experience preferred. Customer service experience preferred along with good computer skills.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
BLS certification required.

Open to feedback and open to a changing environment, which requires flexibility in scheduling and department assignments. Able to read and write in order to complete medical reports and basic arithmetic is required.
