- Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment. This solo RT role supports a hospital-wide respiratory program across multiple areas (ED, ICU, Med/Surg, OB) with the ability to work independently.

- Weekend coverage: approximately 7–13 weekend shifts per contract
Responsibilities
- Provide ventilator management for invasive ventilation and non-invasive ventilation (CPAP/BiPAP, HFNC)
- Perform arterial blood gas collection and interpretation; monitor EtCO2
- Assist with intubation, extubation, and tracheostomy care; suctioning
- Manage oxygen delivery, NIV setup, mask fitting, and troubleshooting of NIV/oxygen therapy
- Deliver respiratory care across ED, ICU, Med/Surg, and OB; manage neonatal and pediatric respiratory needs as applicable
- Document patient data and care in Epic; collaborate with PT, Radiology, Pharmacy, Rapid Response, Social Services, and other disciplines as needed
Requirements
- Oregon RRT license required; license may be submitted pending per posting
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
- Minimum 3 years of respiratory therapist experience; first-time travel candidates may be considered if they meet the 3-year requirement
- Trauma Level I experience listed as required
- Ability to work independently as a solo RT covering ED, ICU, Med/Surg, OB in a Critical Access hospital
- Must have a vehicle for assignment and a valid driver’s license
