The Nephrologist is responsible for diagnosing and treating kidney-related conditions and establishing comprehensive healthcare plans. Key duties include conducting consultations, evaluating kidney function, and managing patient care including dialysis recommendations.
Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in medicine and be board certified or eligible in internal medicine. Completion of an accredited nephrology training program is required.
Responsibilities include: Conducting consultations to diagnose illnesses. Evaluating kidneys to determine treatment. Referring patients to surgeons. Treating and managing conditions. Recommending dialysis. Administering medication.
Job Requirements: Doctoral degree in medicine. BC/BE internal medicine. Graduate of an accredited nephrology training program. Excellent organizational skills.
