The Medical Office Assistant supports patient care by preparing exam rooms, recording vitals, and assisting with clinical procedures. They also handle administrative tasks such as greeting patients, answering phones, and verifying insurance to ensure smooth practice operations.
Candidates must be graduates of a NYS-accredited Medical Assistant program and hold a BCLS certification. Professional certification (NHA, AMT, AAMA, or NCCT) and strong clinical skills in phlebotomy are preferred.
