Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist Emergency at Clay in Fleming Island, FL. This is a full-time Night shift opportunity. This emergency center provides efficient, patient-centered care to Clay County and surrounding communities. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services
Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care
Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses. Certification- ACLS required within 6 months for the Adult EDs and Free Standing EDs
PALS required within 1 year of hire for the Free Standing EDs and required within 6 months for WCH ED.
