Prepares patients for radiation oncology examinations and manages clinical and office supplies. Handles patient registration, appointment scheduling, and maintains radiation therapy charts.
Requires a high school diploma and current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross. Preference is given to candidates with CNA or MOA certifications and experience in a medical office setting.
High School graduate or equivalent required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required through American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Good communication skills. Basic typing skills, using Microsoft Office Medical terminology preferred. Experience working with patients and physicians such as in a medical office setting, hospital or equivalent preferred. Medical Office Assistant (MOA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred. Spends most time standing and walking. Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds; may occasionally lift up to 100lbs with assistance or assistive devices.
