The Medical Assistant is responsible for rooming patients, collecting vitals, performing EKGs and phlebotomy, and assisting providers with treatments. They also maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and ensure accurate documentation within the Epic system.
Candidates must hold a certification (RMA, AAMA, CCMA, or NCCT) and have a degree from an accredited Medical Assistant program or 2 years of relevant experience. Additional requirements include CPR certification and the ability to obtain laboratory, phlebotomy, and audiometry certifications within 30 days of hire.
100% FTE, full-time. Day shift, M-F 8-430pm. You will work at the UW Health 2404 Charles St Clinic.
