Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients, including oncology-related needs
Assess patient status, monitor vitals, administer medications and IV therapies, and manage wounds as ordered
Document care in the electronic health record and update care plans; communicate with the care team
Monitor for clinical changes; respond to emergencies and implement ACLS protocols as required
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and families to support discharge planning and patient safety
Ensure adherence to infection control, pain management, and quality-of-care standards
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse license (state appropriate)
Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in Med/Surg and/or Oncology
Certifications: American Heart Association BLS, NIHSS, and ACLS
Education: RN degree (diploma, ADN, or BSN)
Ability to work a 36-hour week on a 2x3 schedule; start times may vary
