The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging for radiological diagnosis and operates specialized technical equipment to obtain quality images. They are responsible for assessing patient status, administering IV contrast, and coordinating care plans with the healthcare team.
Candidates must be a high school graduate and a graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology school. Required certifications include ARRT in MRI or a related imaging profession, along with AHA BLS-HCP certification.
