Perform high-quality radiographic imaging procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric orthopedic patients. Collaborate with radiologists and physicians while maintaining high standards of safety and patient satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
Requires a High School Diploma, graduation from an accredited Radiology program, and BLS certification. Must hold an Oregon state license (OBMI) and ARRT certification, with pediatric or orthopedic experience preferred.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff in a fast-paced setting Maintain a high standard of safety, compliance, and patient satisfaction Responsible for a correctively positioning patients and ensuring that a quality radiographic image is produced Works closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to either diagnose or rule out disease or injury Demonstrates professional role requirements related to communication with peers and supervisor and flexibility during unexpected work related events Maintains on going- plan for personal growth and self-development Note: This is not an all inclusive list of this job's responsibilities. Required High School Diploma/GED Graduate of an accredited Radiology program Oregon state license (OBMI) American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred 1 year experience in pediatric/orthopedic radiology
