Experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

• UVA Health Piedmont Urgent Care Warrenton Warrenton, Virginia UVA Community Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at UVA Health Piedmont Urgent Care Warrenton.
• This practice builds upon a long-standing legacy of care in the Fauquier community and expands access to high-quality urgent care for patients throughout the region.

• Position Highlights: Location: Warrenton, VA Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) Coverage: Shared rotation for evenings and weekends Volume: 25–45 patients per day Systems: EPIC EMR Support: On-site Radiology and Lab at Piedmont Family Medicine Daily Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive patient care, including history, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment plans.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute illnesses and injuries for patients of all ages.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold safety and infection control standards.
• Deliver superior communication and customer service to patients, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications

Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years in a physician practice or urgent care setting.
• Licensure/Certification: Current NP license in Virginia Active DEA registration
• ACLS,
• PALS, and
• DOT certifications preferred
• Board
• Certification: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (required).
