Agape of Appleton, a nonprofit human services agency, is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (also known as Caregivers) to join our team. With a starting wage of $16–$20.60 per hour (based on experience and position placement), you'll have the chance to create meaningful, lasting connections while supporting adults with differing abilities in a dynamic, 8-bed coed residential home. (The nursing home and assisted living feel in a smaller setting.)

About the Role

In our fast-paced, small home setting, you will provide critical daily support, help individuals live fuller lives, and thrive in a task-oriented environment. Experience with durable medical equipment is a plus, but we offer paid training to ensure you are fully confident and prepared.

What you will do

Assist residents with daily living activities, including meal preparation, bathing, and toileting Support residents in expressing their preferences and needs, honoring their choices and promoting self-determination. Help create a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for everyone.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age. A valid driver's license for resident transportation. Physical and mental capability to assist residents based on their specific needs. A strong passion for helping others. Previous experience is great, but a kind heart and a willingness to learn are what matter most. We provide paid training for all skills needed!
