The Nurse Practitioner provides direct nursing care and manages holistic plans for hospice patients under physician direction. Responsibilities include performing face-to-face encounters, managing pain and symptoms, and coordinating with an interdisciplinary team.
Candidates must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner in Texas with a Bachelor's degree in nursing and a specialist degree. Current BLS certification, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation are also required.
This position is recruiting for a PRN Nurse Practitioner to service the area south of I-10.

The Nurse Practitioner role provides nursing care for patients under the direction of physician. Follows established nursing standards, procedures and practices and gives patient care direction to nursing and other staff members. Candidate would be responsible for managing and performing direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act based on the nursing process. Plan, coordinate, oversee and execute an individualized, holistic plan of care regarding hospice certification of assigned patients.
