The Nurse Practitioner provides routine care and management for patients with acute and chronic neurosurgical complaints in collaboration with supervising physicians. Responsibilities include performing physical exams, ordering diagnostic studies, prescribing medications, and assisting in the operating room.
Requires a Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited program and valid RN and Nurse Practitioner licensure. Candidates must hold a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and a Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number.
