Provide technical assistance for RNA/DNA cancer epigenetics research, including reagent preparation and laboratory maintenance. Manage mouse colonies, perform molecular biology assays, and maintain cell cultures to support translational cancer research.
Requires a Bachelor's degree with two years of experience or a Master's degree with one year of experience. Candidates must possess strong organizational skills and proficiency in basic molecular biology and biochemistry techniques.
Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree preferred. Two years related research/ laboratory experience with a Bachelor’s degree or one year related research/ laboratory experience with a Master’s degree. Meticulous record keeping, impeccable organization and proficiency with databases. Exceptional managerial and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong work ethic, highly motivated, and work well independently and in a team.
Experience with genetic mouse models, RNA biology, tissue culture, cellular and molecular biology techniques is a big plus. Applicants with prior clearance for animal irradiation and/or previous experience in flow cytometry for quantifying xenograft engraftment will receive additional consideration.
