The Clinician provides comprehensive mental health assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic services for children and adolescents. They act as a liaison between families and community agencies while maintaining detailed clinical documentation.
Requires a Master's or Ph.D. in behavioral science and a valid license from the Board of Behavioral Sciences. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be able to pass background checks and physical fitness standards.
This position will be based out of our Oakland site and will be primarily community‑based, requiring frequent travel throughout the county. We anticipate the Alameda County site becoming operational in April. If the successful candidate is hired before that time, they will spend two days per week at one of our sister sites (Manteca, Stockton, or Fairfield), with the remainder of the week dedicated to training and working from home.

The Clinician is responsible for establishing and implementing quality clinical treatment and case management for children and adolescents with special mental health needs. Clinicians shall provide individual, group, and family therapy as well as rehabilitative services and case management in whatever setting is most beneficial for the identified client. In addition, the Clinician is responsible for completing all documentation and written reports required by the Agency.
1. Completion of a clinical program with a Master's or Ph.D. degree in a field of behavioral science from an accredited educational institution. 2. Holds a current license registration issued by the Board of Behavioral Sciences (AMFT, ACSW, APCC, LMFT, LCSW, LPCC)
1. Must possess a reliable mode of transportation to travel to assigned client homes, schools, offices, etc. If personal vehicle is the mode of transportation, must meet Agency’s driving requirements.
$77,304 - $100,735 DOE Salary Range (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC): $74,984 - $103,116 DOE Bilingual Pay: $4,000
