ER technicians are responsible for triaging and assisting emergency veterinarians with managing intakes and outpatient emergency cases, while also assisting veterinarians in all aspects of patient care.
Candidates must possess a high school degree or equivalent and a minimum of two years of veterinary technician experience, with RVT certification being preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and proficiency with medical technology are also required.
