The Behavioral Counseling Technician provides continuous care, supervision, and role modeling for patients from preschool to adolescent ages. They function as an active member of the treatment team under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and experience in behavioral health, with a preference for experience with children. Required certifications include a valid driver's license, CPR, and completion of Crisis Intervention Training (CPI).

The Behavioral Counseling Technician (BCT) functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients ranging in age from preschool through adolescent depending on which unit worked. Behavioral Counseling Technicians work under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
