Responsibilities

• Prepare the sterile field and operating room for procedures; assist surgeons and circulating staff
• Pass instruments, sponges, needles, and implants; maintain accurate counts
• Prepare sterile tables and supplies; assist with patient positioning, draping, and gowning/gloving
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards; support room turnover between cases
• Verify equipment function and readiness; communicate equipment or supply needs to the team
• Collaborate with the surgical team during cases and respond to on-call needs as required

Requirements

• Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
• Experience: Travel assignment experience preferred; Level 1 Trauma experience required; Burn experience preferred
• Scheduling/Availability: Must be able to work in a day-shift oriented environment with on-call, weekends, and holidays; no block scheduling
• Licensure/Education: CST certification required; state licensure as applicable per CST standards
