Perform patient assessments and assign diagnoses based on scientific research and recorded data. Establish and implement care plans while providing education and counseling to patients and their families.
Requires a Master's degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies and a current Illinois license. Must hold ANCC or NCCPA certification along with BLS and ACLS certifications.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in primary care or a related field is preferred Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
