Provide direct patient care including the administration of chemotherapy, blood products, and various IV medication infusions. Coordinate and delegate patient care plans while collaborating with physicians and families to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requires a BSN, a current Texas nursing license, and at least one year of registered nursing experience. Mandatory certifications include BLS, PALS/NRP/ACLS, and PACES certification within six months of hire.
This nurse will join the team of nurses in the Day Hospital of the Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders. Responsibilities include direct patient care in providing chemotherapy, blood products and various other IV medication infusions. The position is 4- 9 hour shifts per week with one “late shift” a week included.
