Responsible for triaging patient calls and providing skilled nursing interventions for hospice patients during non-business hours. Provides critical support and follow-through to families during active dying and death visits.
Requires a minimum of an RN degree and current licensure in North Dakota and Minnesota. Preferred candidates have a BSN and at least one year of recent experience in hospital, nursing home, or hospice settings.
Responsible for the care of hospice patients during non-business hours including, but not limited to: triaging patient phone calls, providing skilled nursing interventions and supportive care in the patient’s place of residents for evening and night after hours duty in accordance with the patient’s respective plan of care and based on need. Provide support and follow-through to the patient’s family during any actively dying and/or death visit for the hospice team. This position works from 5PM to 8AM Sunday to Saturday. 7 days on, then 7 days off and is benefit eligible. This position is located in the Fargo area. Pay Range: Starting at $34.67/hour (based on experience) with additional shift differential.

QualificationsQualifications Minimum of RN degree, BSN preferred Preferred nursing experience, with at least one-year recent hospital, nursing home or homecare/hospice experience Strong clinical skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to problem-solve independently Certifications, Licenses, Registrations Required Current RN Licensure in North Dakota and Minnesota (or willing to obtain dual licensure). Current drivers license and auto insurance
