The technician is responsible for conducting patient interviews, documenting histories, and performing various ocular diagnostic tests. They ensure the smooth operation of the clinical environment while providing exceptional patient care.
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in Ophthalmology or Optometry. COA or COT certifications are preferred, along with a strong knowledge of eye anatomy and diseases.
Description Hummel Eye Associates seeks a highly motivated and skilled Ophthalmic Technician to join our growing team. As a technician in our state-of-the-art practice, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical environment.
The successful candidate will have experience with Refractions Checking vision IOP Various diagnostic tests (Fundus photos, OCT, Visuals)
1+ year(s) of experience in Ophthalmology or Optometry required. COA or COT preferred. Demonstrated working knowledge of eye anatomy, diseases, and ocular medications. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Eagerness to learn and grow. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
