The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing various imaging studies and operating radiology equipment to detect patient abnormalities. They must ensure equipment maintenance, follow radiation safety protocols, and document patient services using the Meditech system.
Candidates must have completed Radiologic Technology Training and hold a current RT(R) certification. BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire, and previous radiology experience is preferred but not required.
Under the direct supervision of the Radiology Manager, the Radiologic Technologist is responsible for detecting patient abnormalities by completing various imaging studies and presenting images for diagnosis.
Duties: And responsibilities:
Successful completion of Radiologic Technology Training. Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(R). Current BLS certification. (Must obtain within 90 days of hire).
