The Respiratory Therapist II provides advanced respiratory care and medication administration, primarily within critical care areas. Responsibilities include ventilator management, airway care, and the education of patients, families, and new staff members.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited respiratory therapy program with an Associate's degree and hold certifications including RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP. A minimum of 0-2 years of clinical experience is required, including at least 6 months in critical care.
