Provide direct support to clients in withdrawal management by monitoring status, taking vital signs, and assisting with admissions. Maintain a safe unit environment and communicate critical observations to the nursing staff.
Requires a high school diploma and the ability to pass a background check, with a minimum of six months freedom from chemical use. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting clients and participating in physical restraints.

The Health Care Assistant (HCA) provides direct support to clients and nursing staff within AICDC’s Withdrawal Management services. This role works closely with clients, fellow HCAs, and medical staff to ensure compassionate, quality client care in a safe and professional environment. Responsibilities include assisting with client admissions, monitoring client status, taking vital signs, maintaining unit standards, and communicating relevant information to nursing staff. The HCA also supports daily unit operations and performs additional duties as assigned by the Lead Health Care Assistant, Nurse on Duty, or Charge Nurse.
This position may be part-time, with employees scheduled for up to 30 hours a week, based on business needs, or on an on-call basis.
