Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to medical-surgical patients, including oncology and hematology populations.
• Monitor patient status, perform ongoing assessments, administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Manage infusion therapy and assist with chemotherapy procedures if chemo certification is available, following safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans; participate in rounds and handoffs.
• Document care in the electronic health record; communicate changes to the team; assist with discharge planning and patient education.
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and accurate documentation; respond to changes in patient condition and emergencies.

Requirements

• Active RN license with Nursys license verification required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent med-surg experience in a hospital setting of similar size.
• Chemo certification preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts; willing to travel for a temporary assignment.
• Candidate profile must include: complete work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days, skills checklist, references, certification card, and Nursys verification. Demographic information and a badge-photo should be loaded into the profile.
