Requirements
Completion of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
Active Missouri LPN license or Compact State license eligible to practice in Missouri
Current CPR certification
Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience preferred
Experience in home health, direct care, long-term care, or high-acuity care settings preferred
Experience with tracheostomy care, suctioning, g-tube care, catheter care, or respiratory support preferred
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Ability to work rotating schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow nursing protocols
Must be able to pass background screening and fingerprinting requirements
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care and support to individuals in a residential setting
Assist individuals with daily living activities, including feeding, bathing, and dressing
Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and changes in patient condition
Provide tracheostomy care, suctioning, humidification support, and related respiratory care as needed
Assist with g-tube care, suprapubic catheter care, nebulizer treatments, and blood glucose monitoring
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing protocols
Maintain accurate nursing documentation and communicate observations to the care team
Support patient safety, infection control, and emergency response procedures
Collaborate with nursing staff and caregivers to ensure continuity of care
Maintain professional conduct and adhere to applicable healthcare standards, policies, and procedures
