Provide specialized respiratory care therapies for neonatal and pediatric patients, including the operation of ventilators and administration of medical gases. Assess patient needs, implement care plans, and provide orientation and precepting for new staff and students.
Requires an Associate's degree in respiratory care and a valid Nebraska RCP license, with a Bachelor's degree and one year of experience preferred. Must obtain RRT, RRT-NPS, and PALS certifications within specified timeframes.
Schedule: FT, night, lifestyle 3:1, Bonus $15,000 (external only)

A Brief Overview Provides appropriate respiratory care therapies specific to the neonatal and pediatric population in accordance with the hospital policy/procedure. Assesses, plans and implements appropriate respiratory plan of care based on the cardiopulmonary needs of the patients. Evaluates effectiveness of plan of care and recommends revisions to the multidisciplinary care team.
