Primary Function The Director of Orthodontic Operations' primary responsibility is to provide strategic oversight and mentorship of Operations, while also being directly responsible for the operational and financial success of multiple dental practices across the United States. The Director of Orthodontic Operations serves operating Dentist owners by holding direct reports accountable to day-to-day practices that meet immediate needs while positioning the practice for growth. The Director of Orthodontic Operations is skilled and experienced at creating annual budgets, strategic planning, project management, talent calibration, growth and development plans, financial statement analysis, verbal and written communication, and modeling professional, ethical, and highest standards of behavior. *
This is a remote position with required travel approximately 50% of the time. *

Understand, analyze, and action plan key performance metrics to successfully lead and grow the multi-unit business within an assigned territory Review operating performance results and take immediate steps to implement corrective action as needed while creating and executing long-term strategic plans Partner with dedicated corporate departments and executive team members to design sustainable and scalable programs Be strategic. Understand operational areas of opportunity, create action plans, and execute plans to grow and enhance the business Organize all projects, initiatives, and programs via project charters; share updates at regular and timely meetings while tailoring the message to specific audiences Thoroughly understand key performance indicators and drivers that affect key metrics Thoroughly understand benchmarks and standards for key business indicators and, when out of line, course correct for immediate correction and sustained performance Assess practice needs and strategically plan to make improvements Keep up to date on industry trends, related current events, and best practices Hold team members accountable for annual training requirements, performance reviews, and other company requirements Provide thoughtful, documented, timely, and helpful feedback to direct reports, focusing on solutions, continuous improvement, and positivity Knowledge and Qualifications 7+ years of experience in the orthodontic field is required 2+ years of multi-site experience is required Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities Proficiency in delegation and remote management Excellent communication skills, capable of effective communication across all organizational levels MB2 Dental Solutions, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
