Provide hands-on care to ICU patients, including assisting with daily living activities and monitoring vital signs. Support nursing staff with admissions, discharges, and maintaining a safe patient environment.
Requires a current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting patients. BLS certification and previous CNA experience are preferred.
The Staff Pad is partnering with a premier hospital located in Russellville, AL, to hire a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant - ICU. Position Overview As a CNA, you will play a vital role in supporting nursing staff and providing hands-on care to patients of all ages. Nights What You’ll Do Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility Monitor and document vital signs, height, weight, and other patient information Support patient admissions, transfers, and discharges Help serve meals and assist with documenting nutritional intake Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment Observe and report changes in patient conditions to the RN Collect and transport specimens following established procedures Assist with patient positioning, ambulation, and comfort care Respond promptly and professionally to patient needs and call lights Follow infection control, safety, and hospital protocols Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients across all age groups What We Are Looking For
