Provide high-quality clinical care across multiple clinic sites, including recording patient histories and administering medications. Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, patient check-in/out, and maintaining medical records.
Requires a High School Diploma and a Medical Assistant certification (MA, CMA, RMA, or CCMA) along with Basic Life Support. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
1. Obtaining and recording patient medical histories, vitals, test results and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality.
2. Coordinating the daily administrative activities, including scheduling, patient check-in and checkout, and patient medical record maintenance.
3. Preparing treatment rooms for clinical examinations and assisting practitioners with medical procedures and other patient care.
4. Delivering compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families.
5. Ensuring compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
6. Preparing and administering medications for patients as directed by physicians.
7. Other duties as assigner
High School Diploma or equivalent; preferred formal education in Medical Assistant program.
Certification(s)/Licensure: MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA and Basic Life Support
Required Experience: 2+ years of experience functioning as a Medical Assistant
