The Lead Dental Assistant provides chairside support to dentists and manages patient preparation and comfort during treatments. Responsibilities include sterilizing instruments, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring operatories are clean and stocked.
Candidates must possess an active Texas dental assistant license and a certification from a dental assistant training program. A minimum of 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience and proficiency with digital software are required.

Ordering supplies for the back office Maintaining equipment (weekly spore testing in the autoclaves, weekly eye wash station testing, quarterly x-ray machine testing, etc) Ensuring smooth flow with the clinical team Assist the Dentists chairside Welcomes patients Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed Instrument sterilization according to regulations Maintains accurate patient records Lab tasks as instructed Provide post-operative care instructions Maintain clean and stocked operatories
