The nurse is responsible for systematically assessing patient healthcare needs and implementing nursing interventions to achieve goals. They must maintain professional relationships with physicians and manage essential logs for medication and emergency equipment.
Candidates must hold a current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license and BLS certification, with a minimum of a Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing. IV insertion skills are required, and new graduates must complete the Nurse Residency Program.
IV insertion skills required. Education Diploma or Associate’s degree (ADN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred. Experience Previous experience in healthcare field preferred. Licensure/Certification Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities New grads are required to complete Norman Regional's Nurse Residency Program. Compensation/Benefits $26.77-$43.71/hr depending on previous work experience.
