The role involves diagnosing and managing cancer patients through individualized treatment plans and chemotherapy administration. The oncologist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and educate patients and families on diagnosis and support services.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and a valid state medical license. Board certification in Medical Oncology is preferred along with experience in oncology patient care.

Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of oncology patients Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Administer chemotherapy and other cancer therapies Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for integrated care Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment options, and support services Participate in clinical research and trials as appropriate Document patient care accurately and maintain medical records
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board certification in Medical Oncology is preferred Strong clinical skills and knowledge of oncology treatments Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Experience in patient care within oncology settings Commitment to continuous professional development and learning Valid medical license to practice in the state
