Performs routine and special magnetic resonance imaging procedures to produce images of designated anatomical areas. Responsibilities include acting as an on-call technologist and training new staff members.
Requires a High School Diploma, 2 years of relevant experience, and ARRT or ARMRIT certification in MRI. Must have completed an accredited radiologic technology program and hold Basic Life Support certification.
Full Time (80 Hours/Biweekly)
Shift: Day/Evenings (Three 12 hour shifts 1030a-11p)
Every 5th weekend (8a-8p)
On call every 5th holiday
Performs routine and special magnetic resonance imaging procedures. Performs procedures to produce MR images of designated anatomical areas according to established practices and procedures. Performs duties as on call technologist, is able to train new staff, and has passed the MRI advanced level specialty exam as per ARRT.
