Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images of the body under physician supervision. Ensure patient safety by accurately positioning equipment and adjusting exposure settings according to established protocols.
Requires a degree from an accredited School of Radiology Technology, a current New Jersey Radiology license, and BLS certification. At least 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist is required, with preference for experience in women's health.
Under the direct supervision of a Physician, the X-Ray Technologist will operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. This individual will accurately position radiologic equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance following established radiologic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety.
