Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support for physical therapy services under supervision of a licensed PT, including therapeutic exercises and gait/transfer training
• Assist with treatment sessions, cue patient participation, and monitor patient response to therapy
• Prepare and organize equipment, apply modalities as directed, and ensure a safe treatment environment
• Document patient progress, communicate outcomes to the PT, and contribute to updated treatment plans
• Collaborate with nursing and therapy teams to coordinate care and uphold infection control and safety standards
• Support quality and regulatory requirements through accurate charting and routine data collection

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license or eligibility in New Hampshire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
• Ability to work in a LTAC/SNF clinical setting and participate in a travel assignment
• Prior LTAC or SNF experience preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
• Commitment to a 14-week assignment and ability to travel as required
