How you’ll contribute

A Respiratory Therapist Student who excels in this role

• Assist respiratory therapists with preparing for and providing patient care.
• Deliver routine therapy as delegated by a therapist.
• Assess patient condition and delivers appropriate treatment.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition.
• Educate the patient and family about the patient’s illness and provide information about community support groups and other resources.
• Monitor, receive, stock, and distribute respiratory care supplies and medical gas cylinders.
• Maintain storage areas with required supply levels and equipment.

• What we’re looking for Applicants should be a current 2nd year respiratory therapist student. Additional requirements include:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required one month from hire date.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NPR) preferred.
• State Board of Respiratory Care
