The Licensed Practical Nurse contributes to the nursing process by assessing patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions and implementing treatment programs directed by Health Care Practitioners, including medication administration. Key duties involve collaborating on controlled substance counts, assisting in procedures, implementing dietary plans, and accurately documenting all nursing encounters using SOAP charting.
Applicants must be graduates from an accredited school of nursing and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the state of employment, along with current CPR certification. A minimum of one year of clinic experience is preferred for this role.
