The role involves providing direct psychiatric services, including comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and treatment for assigned patients, while also ensuring clinicians receive appropriate clinical supervision when necessary. Responsibilities also include working with multidisciplinary staff for triage, sharing 24-hour on-call duties, and providing consultation on patient care.
Candidates must possess a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with Prescriptive Authority and a minimum of two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry. A valid and current Colorado NP license, DEA, and current knowledge of pharmacology are mandatory requirements for this position.
