A Certified Medical Assistant will typically see upwards of 30 patients daily, managing general clinical and procedural patient care under the supervision of practice management or providers. Responsibilities include performing various independent procedures such as collecting vitals, administering injections, and conducting specific diagnostic tests.
Applicants must possess a High School diploma or equivalent and be a Certified Medical Assistant who graduated from a recognized program. Prior experience in an ambulatory healthcare facility is preferred, along with knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding, and familiarity with HIPAA law.
High School diploma or equivalent certificate Qualified applicants must be a Certified Medical Assistant, and will have graduated from a recognized Medical Assistant program. Prior experience in ambulatory health care facility preferred Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians. Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards. CPR certified within the first 3 months of employment.
