The Phlebotomist is responsible for ensuring accurate and professional specimen collection, including blood and urine, while meticulously completing all required patient paperwork. This role also involves serving as a professional liaison between patients, clients, and laboratory staff while adhering strictly to compliance standards.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent and hold a mandatory Phlebotomy Certification, along with experience in specimen collection (blood/urine) or related healthcare services. Essential attributes include strong organizational skills, excellent communication, reliability, and proficiency with record-keeping technologies.
