This role involves assisting physician colleagues in diagnosing and treating patients within the Cardiovascular Medicine division who are undergoing chemotherapy treatments. Key duties include performing professional and technical procedures, making initial diagnoses, ordering tests, and coordinating communication among the healthcare team, patient, and family to ensure quality and safe care.
Candidates must possess a Master of Science degree in Nursing with a Registered Nurse license and Nurse Practitioner certification, or have graduated from an approved Physician Assistant Training Program. Required credentials include registration with the Maryland Board of Examiners of Nurses or NCCPA certification, eligibility for DEA/CDS, and current CPR certification, with ACLS or other relevant certifications as needed.
