Function

• Join the mission-driven team at The Salvation Army Harbor Light Center as we support men on their journey to recovery from substance abuse.
• We are seeking an empathetic and detail-oriented Intake Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking admission to our men’s drug and alcohol relapse prevention program.
• Reporting to the Program Manager, the Intake Specialist will conduct thorough assessments, coordinate services, and provide crisis support when needed.
• This role is essential in welcoming new clients, ensuring accurate enrollment, and connecting individuals—including veterans—to the care and resources they need to succeed.
• The Intake Specialist also represents Harbor Light at community meetings and events, advocating for clients and promoting our mission of hope and healing.
