An Occupational Therapist assists patients in minimizing disability and developing skills for independent functioning in an inpatient setting. They are responsible for planning and implementing rehabilitation services to improve mobility, relieve pain, and correct disabling conditions.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program, with a preference for those holding a Master's or Doctorate. Active Missouri licensure for Occupational Therapy is required, and no prior experience is necessary.
