The role involves assessing patient conditions and performing necessary diagnostic imaging procedures while assisting physicians with various procedures. The technologist will also help maintain patient and room workflow and participate in quality management activities.
Candidates must complete an accredited two-year or four-year program in radiologic technology from an ARRT or JRCERT accredited institution. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology is required, or attainment within one year of employment, along with current Basic Life Support and I.V. certification.
